Finally fully exploitable VoIP equipment!
After having tested all kinds of VoIP materials, I believe that Siemens S450-IP joins together for the first time all the useful functions associated an irreproachable system DECT. Moreover the technical support is very active and the updates of firmware correct the small imperfections more quickly than one cannot ask them, so much so that hardly the system connected to Internet, Doc. paper is completely exceeded by the first update of the firmware. As RdC is very miserly in information on this small jewels, I allow myself to describe the functions which seem to me most interesting:
Parameter setting of 6 accounts VoIP operators with the choice, very appreciable for somebody who already was done berné by a salesman of adapter SIP blocked on an operator: one will not begin again to me more there! ,
Connection on the one hand on a telephone line standard (line FT or taken Freebox or other Livebox) and on the other hand on a network Ethernet (your local area network),
Possibility of connecting itself on the waiter freephonie of Free (to replace the freebox) getting a much higher sound quality (no echo, quality of the telephony type fixes) while profiting from the tariffs of communication suggested by Free,
Undifferentiated management of the calls from where which they come (line Tel. or VoIP),
Possible selection of the fixed line or the one of operators VOIP according to the number of Tel. made up (possible configuration of the operator the least expensive, practical to call the possible portable or foreigner at lower cost),
Two possible simultaneous calls (realise additional a S45 compound),
Dealt with by the base: 6 compounds,
Each compound has a repertory (independent) of 150 numbers; at the current price of the memory they is least things but curiously the French manufacturers did not include/understand it yet:
Exchange of entries of repertories (or rep complete) between compounds and possible safeguard (and diffusion) starting from the console of administration Web of the base; export/importation in a compatible format Excel (finished the lost repertories! …)
The compound delivered in laa box S450-IP has a small base plate of autonomous loading making it possible to place it independently of the base which will be able to remain beside the router, which is very practical.
